Stop searching y'all, this is a recipe you need in your culinary arsenal! It's my Papa's Pepper Phire (fire) Asian style wing sauce. It's everything you want in a wing sauce! It's a sticky, sweet, tangy, savory, spicy bite of deliciousness. It has the honey, ginger and garlic that you want in a great wing sauce with a little kick! I created it for wings but it would be perfect for meatballs as well! It goes like this:

1/2C Honey

1T Mirin

1/2t Sesame oil

3T Gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes)

4T Soy sauce (You can use gluten-free)

2T Ginger paste

1&1/2t Granulated garlic

3T Oyster sauce

1/2t Onion powder

1/2t salt

2t Papa's Pepper premium spice blend

2T Butter

3/4C Water

1&1/2T Cornstarch

Combine all ingredients except butter and cornstarch and whisk thoroughly.

Melt butter in sauce pan over medium high heat. Once butter is melted, and cornstarch and cook while whisking 3-4 minutes. Add previously mixed ingredients and continue to cook until thickened.

Sauce should be a very thick nappé to really stick to your chosen protein.

Enjoy!
