There are two things that I really love about this recipe.  The first is that these really are the best deviled eggs you will ever eat.  Please, do not make these eggs for a party unless you want to be asked to bring them to every other party you ever go to!  The second thing I love about these eggs is the sensation of hot and cold.  I do not make a lot of cold food that is spicy and I love the sensation of the hot and cold combo!  Well, here is the recipe, but as I have stated, make them at the risk of being the best appetizer at every party you attend!

18 eggs

3/4C Miracle Whip (not Mayo, trust me!)

3T Sugar

1T Vinegar

1T Prepared mustard (Optional Spicy Brown Mustard)

1/2t Onion powder

1/2t Granulated garlic

3/4t Salt

3/4t Papa's Pepper premium spice blend

Pro tip-Steaming the eggs instead of boiling them makes them MUCH easier to de-shell

Carefully place all eggs in the basket of a steamer with a lid over high heat.  Once the lid rattles from the steam set the timer for 12 minutes.  After 12 minutes remove eggs from heat and set the steamer basket in cold water for about 4-5 minutes to allow eggs to cool.

Once the eggs have cooled carefully cut the eggs in half and remove the solid yolk into a mixing bowl and reserve the egg white to fill.  Once all 18 egg yolks are in mixing bowl add all other ingredients and whisk well until the mixture is creamy.  Fill a piping bag with the egg yolk mixture and pipe into hollow part of egg whites.  Place eggs in refrigerator for a couple hours to cool and get that amazing hot and cold sensation!

To serve the eggs I'll cut a jalapeno or a cored Roma tomato into rings for the eggs to rest on.

Enjoy!
